Swim for £1
To help promote family swimming at Bulmershe Leisure Centre and to support the free swimming for under 16’s, Woodley Town Council have reduced their Adult charges on all public swim sessions at the weekend to £1 until the 31st March 2010.

service for residents looking for work. The Job Support Centre is an independent charity providing people over 20 years old with free and confidential information and advice on employment, job searching and training and career changes.

Woodley Clean Up 2010

Following the success of the “Woodley Clean Up Day” in April 2009, another is scheduled for March 2010 as part of a borough wide clean up initiative. This event will take place over two days – 20 & 21 March. 65 volunteers took part last year and the litter collected from the streets of Woodley filled almost 100 sacks. Some of this was also recyclable. All volunteers are welcome to take part and further details will be available on the Council website as the date approaches.
