Allotment Application Form

Please complete the form below to apply for an allotment plot at the Reading Road allotment site, managed by Woodley Town Council. Once completed, please ensure you click on the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page.

All plots are currently tenanted, however we will place your name on a waiting list. Priority on the waiting list will be given to new applicants over tenants with an existing plot, whilst residents of Reading Borough will receive priority over other applicants. Otherwise, applicants will be prioritised in order of the date they applied.

We cleanse the waiting list annually, on the 1 February. If you wish to remain on the waiting list then you must contact us in January to notify us; we will write to you to remind you of this. If we do not receive confirmation that you wish to remain on the list then you may be removed, and you will need to re-apply.

Once a suitable plot becomes available we will be in touch to arrange a viewing with the Allotments Tenants Association.

Important Information

After you have submitted your form it is your duty to keep us informed of any changes to your information, including if you reach state pension age.

The Town Council will cleanse the waiting list annually, on the 1 February. Condition of plots

Allotments plots require a lot of hard work. The Council is unable to assist with clearing or tidying plots. When a plot is available, you will be given the option of a viewing. The plot you accept will be made available to you as seen.

Failure to maintain your plot to an acceptable standard will result in a warning, and if there is no improvement then your tenancy will be terminated.
