To maintain the element of surprise, we ask that you do not inform your nominee about this nomination.

Nominations will be considered in January 2024, after which we will contact you to inform you of the outcome. If successful you will be invited to attend our 2024 Community Heroes Awards Ceremony, to celebrate alongside your nominee. This is due to take place at the Oakwood Centre on Friday 5 April 2024.

If your nomination is successful, the Council intend to create a 'Winner's Video' to be shown at the ceremony to celebrate their success; previous examples can be seen on the Council's YouTube channel. As their nominator, we would like you to take part in a short, filmed interview, to be included in this video, in which you can express, in your own words, why you made this nomination. Please indicate below if you are happy to take part in this filming, should your nomination be successful:

I CONSENT to taking part in a short, filmed interview to be used during the Community Heroes Awards ceremony and subsequently published online on the Council's media channels, and for the Council to store and use my image and audio for this purpose. I DO NOT CONSENT to taking part in a short filmed interview.
