Finding the perfect venue to celebrate a special occasion should be as stress free as possible.

At the Oakwood Centre, we pride ourselves on providing a flexible and versatile venue, which is fully staffed and ready for clients to style to suit their theme and event.

We offer bespoke packages for celebrations for up to 150 people* in our flexible function rooms, providing a versatile venue from which to celebrate a special birthday, anniversary, christening, family gathering or memorial.

The venue

Windows occupy one entire wall of each room, offering views over Woodford Park.  All rooms are decorated in neutral tones, providing the ideal backdrop to design and customise, creating the perfect style for the perfect celebration – whether that is a formal seated dinner, an informal drinks reception, memorial or space for a dance floor.

Falcon Room, Brunel Room, Maxwell Hall and Carnival Hall can be extended and configured to create the ideal sized space, while the Miles Suite, for smaller or more intimate celebrations, is particularly elegant, flooded with natural light from full length windows on three sides and from a roof light set in to the high ceiling. The Bader Room is an equally delightful room with windows occupying one wall and feature wall art on another.

Several of the rooms open on to the park, providing the opportunity to extend a celebration to the external spaces and take advantage of the natural beauty of Woodford Park and its facilities, which has maintained Green Flag status since 2018 for its outstanding beauty and upkeep.

The external areas of the Oakwood Centre provide a perfect space for an outside drinks reception, BBQ and photos.

Attention to detail

Our professional Venues Team work closely with each party to ensure the venue is configured to requirement and budget. The team is also available on the day for continued support to ensure the celebration runs smoothly, setting up and clearing down leaving each party free to focus and enjoy its event.

Our flexible rooms can be hired individually or in their entirety. We also offer a special rate for Woodley residents.
