Friends of Woodford Park. 

We're looking for local residents with an interest in the future of our park to let us know what they think and get involved with the friends group. Once established, the group will be able to apply for grant funding for park projects and provide a real voice for local people on park issues. Woodley Town Council is committed to improving Woodford Park and we want to hear from you.

Woodley Town Council has recently carried out the following improvements in Woodford Park;

New Play Area - adjacent to Woodford Park Leisure Centre. This was funded through the national Playbuilder fund and Section 106 Developers Funds. This exciting new play area was opened on 1st June 2010.

Paddling Pool - adjacent to Woodford Park Leisure Centre. This was refurbished in September 2009 with a new liner and filters.

Woodford Park Lake - significant works have been carried out to thin out the overgrown trees and vegetation. This has opened up the views across the lake and we've already seen new visitors including Heron and Egyptian Geese.
