Woodley Clean Up 2010

Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 March saw many volunteers take part in the annual Woodley clean up
campaign - part of a borough wide clean up initiative. Town Councillor Shelagh
Flower took on the task of coordinating the day with community groups, church groups,
and individuals collected 115 bags of rubbish from the streets of Woodley.

Shelagh Flower said she was absolutely delighted at the number of people who
had taken part on the day and that all those involved deserved a big thank
you for their time and help in keeping the town tidy.

The Woodley Clean Up is an annual event and all volunteers are welcome. We will let you know the dates for Woodley Clean Up 2011 as soon as we know.
